If you use offline listening (available on paid subscriptions), we track which titles have been downloaded to your device and their sync status. Downloaded content is encrypted and tied to your account.
We register up to 2 devices per person on a paid subscription. Device identifiers are collected to enforce this limit and to sync your listening progress.
Server logs may include IP addresses, error reports, and crash diagnostics. Logs are retained for up to 90 days and used solely for platform stability.
All audiobook narrations in Sokhak are produced using text-to-speech (TTS) technology. This means:

No additional data is collected from free-tier users beyond what is described in Section 3. Preview plays are logged for abuse prevention (e.g., to prevent systematic circumvention of the preview limit).
A paid subscription (Individual or Family) includes:
Family subscriptions. The organizer shares access with up to 3 other people. We record who belongs to the Family and their role (organizer, adult or child). The organizer can see each child's listening and reading (daily time, books, time of day) and set their parental controls; an adult member's listening is shown to the organizer only if that member chooses to share it, and they can stop at any time. Children's accounts are created and managed by the organizer, who is responsible for them, and have no email address of their own.
For subscribers, we additionally process device registration data and download records as described in Sections 3.4 and 3.5.
Subscription status is verified on each session. Lapsed subscriptions result in the deactivation of offline content and device access, though we retain your listening history and bookmarks.

Sokhak is operated from Armenia. If you access our platform from outside Armenia, your data may be transferred to and processed in Armenia or in other countries where our service providers operate.
